I am an ecologist, conservationist and also a keen birder. My focus is on the protection of wetland and grassland birds and their habitat. My aim is to find the best management practices in order to save some of our wader populations and for the same purpose I study their breeding success at my local patch. I think, when it comes to the protection of wetland species, understanding the network connecting their habitats, can take us a step further in successful habitat management and restoration.
